Size Guide
Choosing the right size for a dress involves matching your own body measurements to the specific numbers listed on each product page. Because fit varies from one style to the next, the information below will help you measure accurately and interpret the size details Torameli provides.
What to Measure Before You Shop
Most Torameli dresses list four key dimensions on the product page: bust, waist, hips, and length. You need to know your own numbers for the first three before comparing them to a garment's chart.
Use a soft, flexible measuring tape. Keep it snug against your skin without pulling tight, and stand naturally with arms relaxed at your sides.
- Bust: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it level across your back and parallel to the floor.
- Waist: Measure at your natural waistline — the narrowest point of your torso, typically just above the navel. Do not cinch the tape.
- Hips: Measure around the widest part of your hips and seat, keeping the tape level all the way around.
Length is a garment measurement, not a body measurement. It tells you how far the dress falls from the shoulder or neckline to the hem. Compare it to a dress you already own that hits at a length you like, rather than trying to derive it from your height.
Body Measurements vs. Garment Measurements
The numbers on a Torameli size chart represent the finished garment's dimensions, not a range of body sizes that will fit perfectly. A dress with a bust measurement of 34 inches, for example, has 34 inches of fabric around the chest area. Your body measurement may be slightly smaller or larger depending on the fit style and stretch.
Some dresses are described as slim fit with stretch (like the mesh and jersey styles), meaning the fabric can accommodate a small range of body sizes. Others are regular or tailored fit with little give, so your measurements should align more closely with the chart numbers. Always read the fit description on the specific product page.
Reading a Product Page Size Chart
When a dress includes a size chart, you will typically see columns for bust, waist, hips, and length alongside each letter size (XS through 3XL). Match your own measurements to the closest row. Keep in mind that Torameli notes a manual measurement tolerance of approximately 0.4–1.2 inches across styles, so small discrepancies are normal.
If you are between two sizes, the product page may offer a recommendation specific to that garment — for instance, sizing up for a smoother drape on a ruched style, or choosing the smaller size for a bodycon cut with stretch. Follow the advice given on that page rather than applying a single rule across the entire store.
Sizes Available
Torameli dresses are offered in letter sizes ranging from XS to 3XL. The exact range depends on the individual style — some pieces start at S rather than XS. Check the size selector on the product page to confirm which options are available for the dress you are considering.
